Here we go again...

Our beloved southwest doesn't fly GJT...

There are only 6 airlines servicing Grand Junction:

Delta: Bike fee $200
Allegiant: Doesn't fly from PIT
American: Bike fee $150
United: Bike fee $100
US Air: Bike fee $200
Continental starting May 1: Bike fee $100

That being said, southwest is still only charging $50 for a bike and is flying NONSTOP roundtrip to Denver for $334 as we speak. Perhaps we wanna reconsider?

  1. I'm having trouble deciding who made this post....

Is it Mr. "I won't ever fly to Denver and drive to Moab again"

    Or...

Is it Mr. "I want to try to redeem myself as John's pacecar"

We could always ship our bikes... (heh, heh, heh...)

  2. If you recall, I didn't really mind the drive, but this time we REALLY have no need to make that drive.

I checked UPS, it'll be around 80 bucks to ship. And save us 12 or so hours of driving and/or liver abuse.
