So bing doesn't show most Southwest airlines flights. I searched the southwest site and found what I believe to be a pretty nice itenary. Tickets are $285.80 (fees included), first checked bag is free and bike is $50 (less than 100 lbs and 80 inches l+w+h). Check it out... BTW, if bike dimensions are less than 62" it's free. Hmmmm, that swingarm does come off doesn't it???

Quantas. Quantas never crashed.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds perfect. Someone call Scott and force him to commit...
10 AM Denver Departure??? The day after the Beerfest. We'd better look for something later
ReplyDeleteVery wise....
ReplyDeleteThere's a 12:35 that gets us into Pit at 7:15. It add's $80 to the ticket price.
For $315 round trip we can Fly out of Denver at 2:45PM and Arrive in Pittsburgh at 9:05PM
ReplyDeleteThe Time change will probably mess with us anyway - We will probably be waking up at 5am and crashing at 10. I was just considering the Hangover
I do see your point. I was just liking that departure time on the 11th and the under 5hr flight time. 2:45? How hungover do you plan on being? By 2:45 I'll be drunk again.
ReplyDeleteanother side note southwest probably isn't the way to go since their bike box is restricted to 80 inches. My box is almost 94. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteyet another side note. I was curious about the size of my box (heh, heh, heh) so I plugged it into the ups site and unfortunatly "large package" (l+2w+2h>130) applies and it will cost $160 to ship to Moab. Ouch.... If we decide to ship and not take on plane we'll need to be careful about the size of our packages (heh, heh, heh).
